Indotherm Aluminium Melting Skelner Furnace (Dual Fuel Gas/Oil)

Aluminium Melting Skelner Furnaces are modified versions of reverberatory furnace.  The Word Skelner comes from Human skull which is oval shape from the top and curved at the bottom same goes with the inside refractory of the furnace which is arch type from the top and has curved edges at the bottom. Indotherm Aluminium Melting Skelner furnace is basically used for Secondary aluminium recycling. It has become first choice for the users because its has very low maintenance and easy of doing operations.

Product Details:

It is suitable for scrap reuse / Die-casting units where scrap will be melted into Casting or Ingots. Ready metal can be route for alloy correction and then to be shifted to the final product. These furnaces are continuous Melting Furnaces which can run smoothly for hours and needs very less labor to operate.

Our Manufactured Tower furnace can attain temperatures ranging from 1100 °C up to 1300°C to melt Aluminum, Brass as well Bronze.

Multilayer Insulation of High Grade Ceramic Fiber to withstand temperature up to 1600 °C. The furnace chamber insulation with high-quality lightweight refractory bricks is recommended for holding operation for rapid heat-up times in non-continuous operation.

Over-temperature limiter in furnace chamber for protection against overheating. The limiter switches the heating off when the set limit temperature is reached, and only switches it back on after the temperature has fallen again
